Hyderabad-based Premier Energies Limited has inaugurated a state-of-the-art 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Seetharampur, Rangareddy district, Telangana, significantly expanding its domestic manufacturing footprint.
With the commissioning of the new plant, the company's total solar module manufacturing capacity has increased from 5.5 GW to 11.1 GW, reinforcing its position as one of India's leading integrated solar manufacturers.
The facility was inaugurated by Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy in the presence of senior state government officials.
The newly commissioned manufacturing unit incorporates several advanced technologies aimed at improving production efficiency and product quality.

According to the company, the highly automated production lines are capable of manufacturing one solar module every four seconds, while maintaining consistent quality through AI-powered inspection systems.
Alongside the inauguration, Premier Energies conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for its upcoming 6 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing facility.
The company also announced the development of an 18,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) aluminium frame manufacturing plant, which will support its expanding solar manufacturing operations.
These facilities will be developed within the company's 75-acre Seetharampur manufacturing campus.
